Fresh water tank won't drain

I am trying to drain the fresh water tank and when I open the drain valve nothing happens. The gauge shows that it is full and I believe it is accurate because I was having an issue where the tank was overflowing when I was connected to city water. I was able to stop the overflow but now it won't drain. Any ideas?

Thanks
Ron

You could confirm a 2nd way that there is water in the tank by disconnecting from outside water source, turning ON water pump and see if the water pump supplies water to faucets, shower etc.

Have you ever drained the fresh water tank successfully before?

Opening the low point drain does not drain the fresh water tank, it has a separate valve. According to Winnebago it is under the bed through a cutout in the bed board (lift mattress to access).

I have used the pump and water is supplied to the faucets.

I have drained the tank before.

I think the tank is now draining, it may have been the slope of my driveway that made me think it was not draining.

Thanks for the suggestions.

When I drain mine, I open drain and drive it a few miles so all the water drains out. It works on mine.
