Front hitch on a class A

So my set up is I tow a jeep and have a large hitch basket behind to hold a kids four wheeler. I need to be able to carry three lol. I carry the large one in the back, the small one on the roof of the jeep and I want to carry the other large one on a front hitch. Keep in mind the large ones weigh about 250 pounds and the small one weighs about 55 pounds. So these aren’t huge four wheelers.

I was wanting to put a front hitch on my Winnebago sunstar class a. Can anyone point me in the right direction as far as types of hitches that may fit and if anyone has done it before?

I also want it as a recovery point. While I dont do any off-roading sometimes our roads to get muddy and these things can easily get stuck.
Thanks!

I don’t know about the hitch but if you have a front engine rig be carful with the air flow for the radiator.

My friend mounted a tire carrier on the front of his rv. Unless you put a raised platform on the front, you will have trouble with ground clearance on inclines. My friends is just high enough, but scraps on the odd entrance, and was very close going onto the ferry to NFLD. His only sticks out about a foot. I can imagine one wide enough for a 4 wheeler would be much wider, and could potentially hit frequently. His is a diesel pusher, so no issue with air flow. Its something to consider if you have a front engine.

You will be adding 300 lb to the front of the motorhome. Your front axle is rated at 7K. Since the ATV will be mounted ~6' in front of the axle, it will be equivalent of adding 1800 lbs to the front axle. I would question whether you can add this weight safely.

That's some interesting math, How did you come up with 1800 lbs? Does that mean he lightens the rear axle by 1500 lbs?

I just guessed, probably not quite that much but I didn't what to pull out my old math books. It will add due to the lever affect. Even it if is only 500 pounds that still a lot on that size axle.

I’m not worried about airflow as the radiator is higher than the atv. But the weight concerns me. Any more insight?????
