Hi ! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!

Noticed you are kinda new on IRV2 and wanted to say hello! I would use a DC ammeter and measure the current to the motor before the circuit breaker pops.

Have fun and keep her between the ditches!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

What is the voltage before it pops? I bought several inline circuit breakers and they did not come anywhere close to meeting their rated capacity. I only learned recently that I can move the slides in with the engine running, unlike my 04 Dynasty. I would try it with the engine running and see if that gets the voltage up to 13 and see if that solves the problem. Regardless I'd be cleaning connections, especially at the solenoid on the motor as that location near the steps is wet...corrosion. Rust is an insulator.

Sounds like a bare positive wire grounded out or if water got in where connector is and shorts out there. I'm with the previous information you received also by running the engine to operate slides with higher voltage to the motors. good luck

A 80 amp slide motor must be a big motor.
