Fuel fill issues, 2000 Damon DP

We own a 2000 Escaper. This is a great coach, but one annoying problem... The drivers side fuel fill will not accept fuel, but the passenger side will. Anyone have a clue?

Thanks
Chris

Have you followed the hose from the fill to the tank to see if it is pinched or some how compromised?

First thing is to check to see if the DS fuel filler line to the tank has drooped down. This is a pretty common problem. If the hose droops below the fuel tank connection, the fuel fills up the line, doesn't go in the tank and you either get a very slow fill or none at all. Depending on how bad the droop/sag is, you may have to replace or shorten the hose. If it isn't too bad you can add support to raise it.

Or you can do what I do with my F-53 gasser. My fill tube runs from the rear of the RV to the front of the tank at rear axle, is straight and almost level, so the fuel can't get out of its own way, and fueling takes forever. I just lower my driver's side jack and tip the RV to the right. Works fine.
