Fueling in Vegas
Where do you guys fuel up your DP's in Vegas besides the truck stops? Plenty of them to choose from, but always seem to have long lines. so trying to avoid them for that reason if at all possible.
We are heading to the west coast at the end of the month and plan on making a fuel stop in Las Vegas. I've always used the Valero at the TA truck stop, exit 33 off the 15(easy in/out), but it's been 3 years since fueling up there. Thanks

Well I have never bought fuel in Las Vagus but when headed to CA. I stop at Primm on the CA boarder. Never had a problem at a truck stop when I needed diesel. Made me smile in the last 5 trips through there never bought diesel in town.

Same here, heading westbound I stop at Flying J in Primm just before the California boarder. Easy in, easy out.

Last time I was thru there the Flying J in Primm was closed. Not sure if it was for repairs on not or if it has reopened. There is a Flying J just north of Vegas on I-15 that you could stop at before you get to town.

Going south on I-15 get off at Tropicana Ave. turn right, (west), go past the casino, (used to be called the "Wild Wild West"? Motel/truck stop, at the light, turn right, you will see the fuel island on the left, about 1/2 a block down. They also have a dump station, last time I was there! There is a NAPA on down past the fuel island at the next corner too, if needed!
Also, Boulder Hwy. has lots of stations!
As stated earlier, lots of Truck Stops north of town, "Petro" at the Speedway exit, and the "TA" at the #32 exit, The Casino's at Jean have fuel station's too!
Hope this helps! Rail!

flying j on north i15 in las vegas is extremely difficult to get in and out. lots of traffic, and close quarters when you get into the station. petro out by the racetrack is a much easier place to fuel up.

Better call ahead and check, as I know they have posted no RV's/Semi trucks! And no overnight parking!
Not that I have not seen them parked there, but it would suck to get there, set up and then told to leave!
If you go on south to the next exit, Silverado Ranch Blvd. (exit 31) get off, turn left, go to the light for the SouthPoint Casino, look to the left, the have a big rig (semi), RV lot, and are very RV friendly! They also have room around behind the casino, (You have to go to LVB, turn right, go to the street just past the casino, turn right, and head to the back, follow the signs!
A quick phone call before hand, always a good idea! Lets you know if they are full or not and will have room for you to park! Sometimes during Nascar or horse show weekends they are really full!
I have parked on the street on the south side of the casino, right next to the curb before, (In my Tractor/Trailer, "Semi" and had the security come a check, told them I was going to see a movie, eat, and come back out and leave first thing in the morning, They said it was OK, and they would check on my Rig every 45 min's or so for me! Lots of casino's in town have over size parking area's, Rio, The Orleans, Luxor, to name just a few! Call them to find out!
Rail!
