fulltime flying to a wedding for 4 days

We're going to a wedding for four days in December, new to the fulltime life, what steps do we need to take to make sure the RV survives while we are gone? We're wintering in Southern California so it could get hot, should we leave the AC on? Or it could get cold as well, but nowhere near freezing so I don't think that's an issue. Is there something to put in the toilet to keep it from drying out? Or any other advice...indoor storage is not really an option for only four days right? So we have to leave it at the RV park (it's a high end park with good 24 hour security so I am not worried about that ).

Away for only 4 days, I wouldn't be too concerned, As you said, freezing not likely. Leave it plugged in at the RV Park, turn down the heat and turn up the AC a bit to save electricity if you are concerned. Good idea to shut off the water tap just in case you spring a leak while away. Toilet shouldn't dry out, but if it does just a little smelly. Make sure you set the Generator to auto on incase there is a power outage, to save the stuff in your fridge.

If you have the AGS system, set up your low voltage point - then set your inside temp you do not want to exceed. If you remain connected to shore power, IMO, leave one ac system on and the others off. All privacy shades DOWN but only the privacy shades. Putting both down actually creates heat. After that, enjoy the wedding[emoji779]

Shut off the water and lock the door. Do you have a neighbor you can leave a key with?
It’s only 4 days!
Good luck

Ditto......the seal won't dry out on your toilet but feel more comfortable and overfill the bowl and do make sure you turn the water....heck we do that every time we leave the coach.

Where in SoCal? I’m in Palm Springs area if you need someone to run by and check on your place.

If temps can get into the 90s I would leave one air conditioner on, set at 85 or so. As for the toilet just put a few inches of water in it. Lock the door, and enjoy the wedding trip!

Hi ! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!

Four days is not gonna be a problem any way! We leave our A/C on 80 in the summer when at home. Just shut off the water at the spigot and don't worry about it. Enjoy the wedding! Keep her between the ditches!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!
