Galley sink drain crimps in my Monaco Knight

I have a 2011 Monaco Knight. When I bring the galley slide in it "crimps" the sink drain so bad it won't open up when I take the slide out. I am continually removing the cover to this area and holding/mashing it until the water goes out.

Anyone else experience this problem?

Thanks,

Steve

Once a plastic drain crimps, it's pretty much going to keep crimping. I'd cut out the section of bad drain and replace it with a ribbed plastic drain that should bend without crimping. You could also try to find a wire spring wrap that can keep the hose from crimping when flexed.

Also suspect that the hose may be a little longer than needed. As suggested would replace and check it out properly
