Garmin RV-BBT600 GPS Position
I have a Garmin RV-BBT600 built-in GPS in a Jayco Precept. The location of the unit is terrible. It's very difficult to see the GPS directions when driving.

The unit has the detachable head and I was thinking possibly mounting that up higher while driving. It has a magnetic back and thought maybe I could connect it to a magnetic phone holder.

Has anyone else done something like this or have another idea? I don't like the idea of buying a separate RV GPS unit if I already have something that works.
