Question Garmin Rv Gps

Hello Everyone,
We have a Newmar Baystar With a Garmin Rv770lmt-s Gps. It will blow the main 20 Amp fuse, after we have traveled 50 miles or more. The fuse is difficult to replace- lying on your back. We have replaced the plug charging cable, and it doesn’t resolve the problem. Garmin has no answers as my anxiety increases. We would Appreciate any info or a different avenue. Thanks to all.

Sounds like it's not the GPS, it the 12 volt power outlet it's plugged into. Do you have another 12 volt outlet you can plug the GPS into? If not, I'd suggest replacing the 12 volt power outlet.

Try the GPSr in your auto. There is no way a GPS will draw enough current to blow a 20 amp fuse
