So if a short develops the RV burns down? They most likely don't have individual fuses, but a fuse for the instrument cluster or other grouping would be quite common.
Since the gas gauge and the temperature gauge are both usually powered by 12v(+) and the ground is regulated by a resistance in the ground wire, I'd make sure all battery connections and grounds are clean. Check under the dash for a bad connection and also try switching out like relays in the chassis fuse/relay panel. You may have a bad connection in a relay, by swapping them around connections get improved and you might discover a bad relay. Also check the ignition connector near the steering column, some Workhorse chassis have problems from too much current going through that connection.
