Gas Mileage Question
We have a 2003 RexAir 3750 RB with the 8.1 Workhorse. Our fuel mileage on the last trip was a mere 4.75 MPG.
Wondering what others are getting.

First trip with a ; new to you coach ?
Or was fuel mileage on this trip worse that another trip on the same road?
Any generator use to factor in?
My own coach , economy can vary by 2.5 MPG , depending on , route ( highway conditions ; hills to climb ) and speed .
Easy, flat freeway driving , at 60 mph. 9.5 MPG , mountain roads in Idaho and Montana. If I try to maintain speed in excess of 65, I might as well pour the fuel out on the road.
I know that my diesel coach mileage isn't what you want to compare to , but your speed, your coach and toad weight, and your route , play a BIG factor in your economy.

The Grand Cherokee is a very heavy vehicle. I normally tow a Honda Civic. A couple of times I pulled my son in laws jeep and my mileage went down. With that being said, Your mileage is low. At what speed do you cruise ? Do you floorboard it on hills. Driving habits do make a big difference. If you are a conservative driver this is low. Average MPG for your set up is usually in the 6 plus and up. Hook it up to a OBD ll reader and see if there are any codes.

I have a 2004 35ft MH on the W-22 chassis (same 8.1 GM as you) and pull a Jeep Liberty so my total weight my be a little less than yours (my gross with toad is 25,600lb). My wife and I finished a 7000 mi trip this June from eastern Pa to Yosemite, Ca., out the southern route back the northern so we ran through all types on terrain. My overall gas mileage for the entire trip was 7.48 mpg and I stayed at 65-68 mph on interstate hwy but in the mountains I don't floorboard it instead hold it to around 3200 rpm.

I'd say almost all Class-A gasser's get between 7 to 10 depending on what if anything towed, terrain, and speed. Any less than 7 and it's time to look at a tuneup, any more than 10, means you probably have the rig for sale.
It's been my experience having all types of motorhomes, C, A, Bus, that's the only time they get more than 10 mpg.

Our V10 is 6 to 9 depending upon all the factors mentioned. I can get over 10 if I only travel downhill. I do get a lot of fun per mile though. [emoji12]

In approximately 30,000 miles in our Itasca with an 8.1 Workhorse, we averaged about 6.2mpg overall. Sometimes it was 5 and other times it was 7 depending on road and wind. I did tend to run the speed limits up to 70mph.

I have a 37' Newmar with the 8.1 on the W24 chassis. I try to keep my speed at 60 mph towing a Chevy Malibu on a dolly. I average 7.5 on several trips including hills.
