Typical gassers average anywhere from 5-8 MPG, depending on how hilly the route, how heavy the foot, how much of a load, how much headwind, etc. ![Big Grin](https://www.irv2.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif) So the answer is... it depends.

Our '98 Santara 35'/460 got 5.5 to 7 depending on wind and terrain. Banks kit helped the power a lot but not the mileage enough to notice.

With 3 big bikes and a trailer. Open or Enclosed?
You may be getting close or maybe over your GCWR.
Take your GCWR and subtract the GVWR for what you can pull.
Figure on worst at 5 MPG.
Best MPG may be 5.5 MPG

Which may or may not be correct depending on the hitch maximum weight sticker.

Guess I was thinking BIG bikes like Gold Wings or Harley Ultra at 900# each.
That would be 2,700 lb and I don't think they are many 300 lb trailers that could haul them.

I love it
20 year old technology, frontal area of a house, weight of half a house, and the biggest gas engine in the world at the time and you are asking about mpg ?!?
If you think about it, Now THAT is funny
but it is what it is and actually GOOD mpg for a HOUSE ![Smile](https://www.irv2.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
bet you saved 10's of thousands of dollars over a new one that you can use for gas - enjoy it !!!

I have a very similar Santara but a foot longer with a big slide-out so its heavier.
My fuel tank is 100 gallons. Mileage is 5-6 NOT pulling anything.
Just sit back and enjoy the ride!
