I've owned two F53 gassers: a 2004 Thor Hurricane with no suspension upgrades, and a 2016 Newmar BSS with a steering stabilizer and upgraded sway bars. The Newmar is MUCH more pleasant to drive. It tracks much straighter, and the coach is better insulated reducing road and engine noise.

I've never driven a DP and I think I'll keep it that way until I have the budget to afford one. In the meantime, I highly suggest the steering stabilizer, bigger sways, and possibly shock/spring upgrades to anyone with a gasser.
