Gasoline tank size??
The manual for our 2003 Coachmen Aurora 3380 MBS does not show the size of our gas tank. I've been all over the internet trying to search it and can't come up with anything. It's a Ford V-10.
Anyone know????

If it’s a class A it’s 80 gallons. But your owners manual will tell you for sure

And you are only allowed to use 80% of capacity by DOT regulations,

I was under the impression that the F53 chassis used 75 gallon tanks (usable capacity) up until about 2011 when they went to 80 gallon. But I'm not an expert. I'm just going by what I remember being told years ago.

My understanding is any fuel tank. Most manufacturers list usable capacity not tank size.
In my DP on the tank is a sticker that says only 80% can be used. Looking at the regulations....
(12) Overfill restriction. A liquid fuel tank manufactured on or after January 1, 1973, must be designed and constructed so that -
(i) The tank cannot be filled, in a normal filling operation, with a quantity of fuel that exceeds 95 percent of the tank's liquid capacity; and
(ii) When the tank is filled, normal expansion of the fuel will not cause fuel spillage.
So I am limited to the 80% most likely due to the way the filler is manufactured into the tank.

See if you can find a F53 owner's manual somewhere and it for sure will list the fuel capacity. I didn't find a "free" one online, though, after doing a quick search.
ETA: Found one! They want a $5 donation to download but you can view it online:
F53 Motorhome - Owners Manual - (2003)
I'll attach the page below that lists the fuel capacity ...and it is 75 gallons.

Found the manual on the Ford website. Page 89 shows it to have a 75 gallon tank.

Edited to add: Oooops, my post is a bit late.

Yep,,, the 2019 Ford manual shows 80 gallons.
Not sure why HighDesert's shows 70 though. Tank switched out maybe?
