Gen auto start issue - genset starting. Then starter cool down

I have only recently figured out the gen auto start functions. It shows as starting genset when it reaches 60% but it never cranks., then monitor says
Starter cool down.

Starts fine from drivers seat or by switch on gen.

Any ideas?

Which monitor is saying 'Starter cool down'?

Your '03 Should have the AGS controller with the small knobs used for settings, in the front electrical bay, unless it has been upgraded, to a networked system.

Its the rc7 batt monitor above entry door.

Look for the AGS controller in the front electrical bay. It should try to start your gen 4 times, with a pause in between each attempt, for the starter motor to cool down (in case the starter motor is in fact cranking the motor over. The AGS controller really doesn't know for sure if this is happening or not.). If it has tried 4 times and failed to start, there should be a red light on your AGS controller.

Don't see it in that pic. Look at post number 12 in the thread I posted a link to.
Somewhere, you should have a AGS controller like the one in these two pic's. Yours will likely have a series of small knobs for changing the settings, but will have the green ready light, a status light, and a test button.

Onan Generator issues

I am new to this forum and site. I hope that someone can direct me where to post this question.

Generator will not run both A/C's but shore power will, any advice?
