Generac Guardian 5500 Removal to Fix Oil Leak

I have a Generac Guardian 5500 generator in my 2005 Newmar gas coach. I had the leaking oil cooler lines replaced several years ago and they are once again leaking. This appears to be a common and repeating issue with this generator. Unfortunately, it requires generator removal from the coach to replace. The Generac repair facility gets $1,500 due to the generator removal process, however they did do a good job. I am hoping someone has done this repair and can provide some guidance to the following questions.

Any guidance on removal and installation?

Any better oil cooler hoses that will last longer? (I was thinking of using hydraulic hose with end fittings rather than the existing clamps)

Any way to run the generator out of the coach to verify the leak is repaired?
