Generac Primepac 55G Problem
Shut down generator after about 1 hour use and drove off only to find out about an hour later that the indicator light was still on dimly. When I checked the generator at the first gas stop I opened the door and smelled hot electric smell and small amount of smoke. Took out the 15 amp fuse and smell/smoke stopped. When we arrived at the next site I opened the module box and reinserted the fuse and the upper module (voltage regulator?) started smoking. Pulled the fuse and have been researching to no avail. I would like to think that it was that module or something less expensive or easier. Any suggestions?
