Generator Batteries

I'm new to Class A camping. And at the risk of sounding lazy. Can I charge both batteries at the same time? Or should they be unhooked and charged separately? The chassis battery is not a problem, I charged that while on the bus.

In a previous post you reported having a 1992 Holiday Rambler Imperial.

In those, and most all Class A motorhomes, the house batteries are charged by a coverter/charger. This device takes power from the shore power cord or generator to charge the house batteries that power the coach.

If wired correctly, you do not need to make any connection changes to charge the batteries.

Also all the batteries should be charging from the engine alternator when the engine is running.
