Generator hours meter

Hour meter is showing blank.
2008 Fleetwood fiesta. Any ideas?

My guess would be that it is not hooked up. I would look at back of meter and see if that end is connected.

I believe all those wires go to the generator. Check the plug at the generator maybe disconnect it and clean the connector.

If it still doesn't work then you would need to figure out which wires are involved and check those voltages at the generator and at the hours meter.

I know this is a silly question but,,, the genset is running when you try to read the meter, right?
