Generator not getting enough juice to start

We have a 2006 National RV Dolphin on a Workhorse Chassis. I can't seem to get enough juice to start my Onan Marquis Gold 7000 generator. This has only happened since I took the unit in for service. I do need to replace the house batteries but my chassis battery is good. In looking at the BCC schematic is shows a 150 amp reset button for the generator and the jacks but I can't seem to find it. Where is it located? Also, does the generator use the house batteries or the chassis battery to start? Thanks

Most use coach batteries for starting the genset, as the genset can recharge both battery banks,

As to your non-start issue, have you removed and cleaned all 12V connections between battery bank and genset yet?

Replacing batteries IF they do not pass a load test is the first step though.

On my BCC the 150 breaker is in the lower right corner on the back side of the front circuit board. If your jacks work the breaker is not tripped. Go RV Custom Products web site and download documents for your BCC.

Attached is the BCC my Dolphin has. Also there is a National RV Owners Forum to post in.

As Ray,IN mentioned make sure your batteries and cables are in good condition.

If your house batteries are weak, and they most likely are the ones that start the generator, I think you identified your problem.

Unless its not cranking at all, the circuit breaker probably not your problem.

If you have a good chassis battery and a boost switch, have you tried that ?

Yup, just been there. Replaced the 4 house batteries and the generator started right up. Would not even turn over before.

Had a similar problem a couple months ago. Generator wouldn't start, just clicked rapidly. The boost switch didn't help either. I put a voltmeter on the 2 coach batteries, and they both showed a little over 3 volts. I put 2 new batteries in, and it started right up.
