getting it ready for the 1/4 mile

can't wait, I order a custom tune from 5 Star and the Banks Stinger kit today. From what I have read this should wake up the V10 and help the shift pionts of the trans. Everything will be in later next week, so I have my weekend cut out for me since we're leaving the 7th of July for a trip to Myrtle Beach for a week and then to the Smokies for a week. I might have to find me a race track somewhere in between. Got my new Koni FSD shocks put on last weekend and still haven't driven it, once I get all of it done, I will think I'm in a new MH. Hope DW don't find out how much I spent on everything are I will be in the dog house.

Just installed the 5 Star tune on ours last week, but won't know how it works until we take off for WA state Jul 3rd. Ours already had the full Banks system so should be interesting.

Good luck with your custom tune, and you should be pleased with the FSD ride.

I think you meant to say, "What the DW doesn't know won't hurt you."

This is one of the four of these type cars that I tune. As you can tell this one has a carbon fiber '57 Chevy body on an all tubular chassis with a Brad Anderson solid aluminum block and heads. It has 526 cubic inches and makes around 2500 hp. If uses a Darren Meyer built Roots supercharger and just drinks gallons of methanol during a run. I tune the car and it is driven by Kristian Nystrom from Finland. It will run the 1/4 mile right around the 5 second mark at 238 mph. We use a planetary three speed transmission that only uses a clutch to launch. You shift gears going down the track without a clutch. It is a fire breathing monster.

Here is an video from about a year and half ago when we were testing.

Mike, Is there any way I could get you to throw a tune on my Winnebago before I go on vacation this summer? I always like to get to the top of the hill first.
