Getting our first MH

Tomorrow morning we are picking up our first MH. Started with a towable, then a very short stint with a 5th wheel and now we are moving up. The dealer was great to work with. Great group of people on here with tons of advice.

Congrats to you. We did the same thing. Started with pop-ups, TT.s, 5er, and now our second MH. I'm sure you'll love it.

2012 Bounder Classic 34B. We really liked the bunk bed setup for the kids.

Went to pickup the MH on Saturday got through the PDI and the finance people and headed out to take her home and found out the fuel pump on the generator was bad. They quickly replaced it and we got on our way. On the way home the two roof top ac units cut off when I stopped at a light. Then later the generator just turned off. When we got to the campsite right when we were pulling in the generator cut off again. Called the dealer and they are going to look at it tomorrow. It was great to do a one night shake down run to see what all was going on. We also figured out the DVD player on the surround receiver is bad. Other than these two items everything else was great! 10 days and we head to Hilton Head for a long over due weekend.

We wish you the best of luck with the issues stated above. We, like you, moved up to a Class A, from a travel trailer. We Started in a tent and then a 28' Airstream (purchased new), and just purchased a 2011 Monaco Diplomat. Thus far we have only has some very minor issued with the Monaco. However, we had some very serious water intrusion issues with the new Airstream. As with any new RV, there are going to be issues. The beauty of buying new is the warrantees and it sounds like the dealer is taking care of things. In the case of our Airstream: Airstream made a house call to solve the water issue. We wish you the best of luck and many adventures in your new motor home.
