Glendinning RLC Problem
I have a Glendinning RLC installed and the remote control is not working. The manual switch works fine. I have replaced the control relay and the remote controls. It still isn't working. When I push the remote button it only moves the cable about an 1/8"
Any suggestions out there.
Thanks, Wendell

What is a Glendinning RLC??
Why not use the manual switch since it "works fine"?

I have an automatic water hose reel called Glendinning but can't imagine needing a remote. Maybe dead battery if it's wireless?

I have the automatic power cord reel too but don't know the name of mfg. Still don't have a remote. Switch is on the unit (in/out). You must have the upgraded model. Only thing I don't like about it is the 15' cord that's stored in the "tank". Had to buy another 15' cord just to reach some pedestals. Good Luck

Yep. We have the same product. I have a 40' cord. They will hold any amount of cord, it depends on the storage capacity.
Thanks,
Wendell

Check the power connection to the remote box. Sounds like the voltage to the motor drops when you activate the remote.

Andy,
You were exactly right. I had only a little over 11 volts to the remote and it takes a minimum of 12 and a max of 24.
You had the answer, Thank You
Wendell
