Our 2002 Damon daybreak needs new tires this spring and was wondering if anybody knows of a good place to buy tires close to Cambridge , Ontario?

If you want to travel to Stratford, call Honeywood Tire @ 519-273-3111 ask for Mike. They do a lot of truck tire work, stock a bunch of tires and have always treated me very well.

Personally, I'd call places in Buffalo / Niagara (US side) or Port Huron. Not sure if there will be a difference but I'd be surprised if there wasn't.

Thanks for the info. It has Michelin tires on it now but I would be happy with any good quality name brand tires. Any recommendations?

I have not purchased RV tires from them but I suggest you try Kal Tire. I have had the valves replaced on my old Class C by them and they were knowledgeable and cheaper than I had expected. They are a very large chain in Western Canada but have only entered the Eastern market a couple of years ago. They also do heavy truck tires so RV tires should not be a problem.

Try Value Tire & Auto, Speers Rd. Oakville, good service, good prices on the 3 sets of Michelins I have bought from them over the years. Ask for Scott.

The price of tires is gonna shock you. I was looking at replacing just my car tires and was astounded at how much the price has gone up. Guess with the price of oil tires are more expensive.

Thanks for the suggestions, there is a Kal Tire here in Cambridge so I might get a quote from them. I know this will not be cheap but I blew a tire last fall and they are 10 years old so it's time.

you can also come south on hwy 24 to St. George Tire just outside of brantford. I havent had any of my RV tires replaced from there, but I always get my dump truck tires there, they have always treated me right and the prices are usually pretty good. If they dont have it in stock, they can usually get it fairly quickly.
cheers
John

Pretty hard to beat
Go back to Michelin. They are pretty hard to beat and they have a road hazard warranty available.
