Just got in my renewal for Good Sam Travel Assist. In the intervening years since I signed up, I also became a member of FMCA. FMCA membership includes a benefit similar to Good Sam Travel Assist. Is it worth renewing the Good Sam Travel Assist?

I have never had any experience with Good Sam's but have some with FMCA. Last fall at a rally in Golf port Texas one of the people became ill. They had to transport him to San Antonio. His wife went with him. FMCA Travel Assist picked up his coach and his car and transported them to his home base campground out side of San Antonio. As far as I know it worked just as advertised.
As you are getting this service FREE with your membership to FMCA why would you spend money for the same coverage?

Have never used the FMCA nor any other assist program and hope we never do! But the DW has liver cancer so it's imperative to have one now. Just glad FMCA went back to having it as part of the membership.

Reviewed the item by item service comparison and there is very little difference between the two except for the price. The only good news about Good Sam's plan is they dropped the price $30 because of FMCA offering the plan as part of membership dues.
