Does anyone know how to flush out the grey water tank? I have a flush outlet for the black water tank, but not the grey.

The grey water sensor always shows between 2/3 and full.

Most coaches don't come with gray washout systems. Your sensor has probably gotten gunked up with soap scum, grease, etc. I had the same thing happen in our Itasca and added one of the Tornado washout systems shown below. With a few applications of Dawn detergent sloshing around and regularly using the washout it cleared up. There are two types of sensors; a probe through a hole in the tank wall and electronic sensors that "see" through the plastic. Either one can get fouled up. When I cut a hole in the tank in ours to mount the spray head, there was a 1/16" thick coating of scum on the inside wall of the tank, even near the top. It taught us no more grease down the sink drain. You might try a 1/4 cup of Dawn in a 2/3 full tank and drive around some to see if that will clear it up first. If not, then the washout system is your best bet.

Thanks Dan, I'll try the sloshing around trick on the way home in a couple of days when we are on the road again. If not, I guess it's another accessory for the coach.

No magic. Run the water taps until the tank is full, then dump. Add some detergent or a bacterial septic cleaner if you like, but it the bacterial action stuff has to sit awhile (days).

My last coach had a gray flush system but it is mostly a "feel good" thing. Ditto for black flushers, in my opinion, but the gray flush is even less practical value. Internal tank sensors get gummed up regardless and the only real solution is an external sensor system, e.g. Garnet See-level or similar.

Had a problem with my tanks and did a search.. Came across this product "TankTechsRx - RV Holding Tank Treatment & Cleaner". After looking at several videos, decided to giver it a try. Works great. It can be used in grey and black tanks. There are several videos on youtube and it can be bought on Amazon.

Luckily, our sensors are right next to the big outlet so I attached a brush to a rod and was able to scrub the inside of the tank where the sensors "see". Fixed the problem but I am going to make it a habit that every time we leave for a trip, I am going to fill both tanks halfway and add some Dawn [Boy,,, I love that stuff], and drain when we get to the first CG.
