d_elegance-

Unless I'm mistaken, this is a typical 120V-12V converter, just from a different manufacturer than we're used to seeing in an RV.

Yes I am sure it is. What I was referring to was the brand name and or model. I was looking for feedback on this particular brand because I have never seen or heard of it before. I have searched the internet and all I have found it that it is being used for a power source to run show vehicles 12v system while on display. If it works for that then o guess it will work for my rv. With a output voltage of 13.2 - 14.8 I would assume from what I have seen on YouTube that it has multiple stages output as other smart charger/converters do. Well it's installed as of now so I guess I will be my own judge of its performance and reliability. I will keep you posted as of now it's working out.

Why are you installing it? Does the inverter/charger that came in your MH not work?

My original converter/charger has now power output. It took me a while to realize how everything works and I have now pinpointed the problem. It's a converter not a inverter. It takes 120ac from your generator or shore power and powers the coach's 12v system and charges the coach batteries. I would charge my batteries and everything would work fine. After a while things would start to act up and the lights would go dim. I could not figure out the problem until I realized it was because it was due to the converter not working.

Sorry about the typos. My phone changed the words and I did not realize it. I cant find a way to edit the text. If you try you can figure out what it is supposed to say.
