After living in Japan for years, I would never go without a bidet. I use a Bio-Bidet at home and hate not having one when camping. I have the room, so why not? I saw one a Costco this week for about $300. hmmmm...

Has anyone put a Bidet seat in their RV?

Hey countryb, we just did!
Be prepared for a chilly spritzing [emoji23][emoji23] and depending on the unit, the ability to strip paint off the side of a barn.....

This is what we just installed on our Dometic 310/320 (I forget the number, but elongated bowl)

Luxe Bidet
Luxe Bidet Neo 120 - Self... https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00JG2DETM...p_mob_ap_share

We made our connection at the bowl as we previously installed a 3/8 shut off valve and a water hammer arrestor on the wall side. The T provided will most likely not work.

The “T”:

At that price I am guessing it has heated water and a heated seat,

I went with the Alpha JX model for home use. It requires a 120V outlet near the toilet. That would not be a problem in the RV (I don't think) - the problem, if there is one, is whether or not there is enough (flat) space between the seat bolt holes and the back of toilet (the tank-like structure). On one of the earlier posts, one guy had to grind the porcelain to get his seat to fit. I don't want to do that.

And I don't want a "value line seat" (just water spray - no heat (seat/water). If I'm going to install one, I want at least the "luxury line" or "premium line" (as Bidet King lists them).

Has anyone found one to fit a Thetford Tecma ? The seat bolts are horizontal on this unit and bolt into the hump vs the standard vertical.

We have 2 Toto bidets in the coach and a Kohler bidet at home, the Toto's are the clear winner for form and function.

BIDET

A friend with a new King Air recommended this unit and we bought it for the house. It has heated seat and water. Will require replacing toilet in the RV but this will be done soon. Brondell Swash 1400 Luxury Bidet

That spray nozzle is for cleaning the toilet, not the user.

I just added one to my RV, a SmartBidet SB-1000 unit that has heated seat and heated water. The china bowl toilet DID require some modification to allow the seat to fit - HOWEVER the mod is completely hidden underneath the bidet seat and there is no issues with fitment.

I replaced just the seat with the Brondel. Heated seat, water and dryer; works great.
