Have You Ever ...

While reading through some threads I ran across this photo. I have never heard of or seen a topper that extends down to a window awning. Is this a home made item or is it a purchasable item ?

If anyone has one what are the pro's and cons of it ?

Mine does this, there are additional straps that enable me to pull it down and clips on the side of the slide they attach to. Works great for keeping the sun and rain out.

That's the Carefree Omega topper/awning. We love ours!

Mine does it too. I don't have it pulled all the way down in this pic because of the tree next to me, but you get the idea.

Our 2003 Monaco Windsor seems to have one of these but we can't figure out how to extend it...don't see straps and isn't automatics like our main awning... can anyone with a like coach offer advice?

Sometimes the strap gets wrapped underneath when the slide goes in and out or the strap broke off when the previous owner had it. Get up on a step ladder, release the side frames and unroll it by hand. Hopefully the strap will drop out.
