There are a lot of threads regarding removal of the glass tube TV. Search TV install and you will find them. There would be no reason you cannot reun a DVR off the video switch. You would have to put it into the VCR loop.

You can also call or email Winnebago Customer Services and they'll guide you on how to remove the old set.

I'm not so sure running a HD DVR through your switch box will be straight forward. For full functionality, I think DVRs require either two RG6 coax leads from the dish, or a SWM arrangement which I don't think all RV HD dishes support. In a 2001 coach, you might also have RG59 coax which might need to be upgraded.

Best of luck

Rick

open the cabinet doors on each side of the tv, there are 2 screws on each side theat holds the shroud in place. remove that and you will see 2 bolts one each side near the top that holds the strap down on top of the tv. it is heavy. be carefull. best done with a helper to undo the wires behind the tv
