Heating your bay for winter trips?
I don't have floor heating. My wet bay does get hydronic heat in zone 3. my holding tanks have a heating pad. The remainder of the storage bay area from front to back is an open area. I'm curious if anyone has tried to use a small heater to keep the bay area warm for winter trips. My hope is that is eventually the heated storage bay provides a warmth that radiates up through the tile floor. Your shared experiences appreciated.

If this helps the tile floor my wife would get off my case about upgrading! Can you tell the difference with the bay heaters?

We spent the winter in the Winnebago 11 years ago when our house was being built. We removed most of the stuff in the bays to get better air movement and used a small oscillating 100V heater. Helped heat the tile floor somewhat although there were some cold spots. Used less propane also.

Your floors are insulated with your plumbing traveling through it and you have a heat register with fan that heats all your bay area tanks.
Oasis information can be found in QT's # 3, PDR John's and DS Don's MOD Sections.
You have more than I did and we camped in 1* temps for extended periods.

I bought a mechanic hanging light with old 100 watt bulb. That keeps the bay warm

I have a 600w electric heater and electric heat wrap around pipes.

My bet would be a 2015 DSDP will have heat vents in the bays...look for them, I'll bet they are there.

With the Oasis heat in service bay you will find temp stays right around 45. I was worried about stuff freezing in storage bays also , I get some freezing weather before I get out of town. Coach is always plugged in, I find the Magnum inverter charger which is mounted between frame rails puts out enough heat that storage area always has been around 40. Maybe the fridge freezer puts out heat too.
