Have you checked the water level in the batteries??
Disconnect from shore power to fill. Onlly fill to about 1/8 to 1/4 inch below the ring at the bottom of the cell cap.
If that is not it one of your batteries may have a bad cell.
Stop charging and figure out your problem.

Hi Stanleyowen,
Welcome to iRV2. Do you have a meter and are you comfortable using it to perform tests on the batteries?

If not, pull the batteries and take them to your local battery store or Auto parts store. Have them:
1. make sure the batteries are at full charge
2. do a load test on each battery.

Without knowing your skill level it is difficult to provide DIY instructions.

Dead short

Take them out and have them tested you most likely have a shorted cell. How old are these batteries, are they in warranty.

You are getting a signal of OVERCHARGING? (I assume this is on a meter of some kind or an alarm device of some time) This means the voltage regulator segement of your charging system, (Alternator or converter) needs replacement or adjustment.

A bad battery will NOT give an over charge indication.

HOWEVER and overcharge condition can make a battery go bad.
