Looking to get 6 new tires for my 00 Newmar 3565 DSDP.
275/70/22.5
Ironman I-502 18 ply
Or
Hankook AH37 18 ply
My local tire shop can get either of these for decent price.
Thanks!!!
Anyone else running either of these?

I put on Continentals USING FMCA discount program.
Very satisfied with tires and the process.
Contis made in USA and I would rather support our economy than sending $ overseas.

Hankook are not Chinese. They are oem on some class 8 trucks. They are engineered in the USA. They have a development facility in Akron. The home of Goodyear!!. Ironman are probably Chinese.

What size? Some truck tire mfgrs. do not make all sizes. I've been happy with the Sailun truck tires I'm running.

Ironman. What’s wrong with Chinese? They make great balloons.

Just kidding. I’d go with the Hankook.

Was pleased with our 275/70/22.5 Hankooks made in South Korea.

Am pleased with our current Ironman I-502's which were made in Thailand.

Don't think you can go wrong with either.....get the freshest and best price and roll on down the road.

I also have a Newmar 3565. My unit had Michelins on it back in 2016. I went with Toyos 279/75/22.5 H series. Best tires ever. $2500 out the door with balancing beads.

Maybe in 2016.
Definitely not now.
Prices have definitely gone way up.

That is the size on my MH. in 2017 I had 6 new Sailun S637 all -position truck tires installed. IMO they perform better than the Goodyear G670's they replaced.

My final bill for tires, mount and balance, FET, and disposal fee was $1,280. That was 2017, as the brand became widely known here in the U.S.A. the price increased, I think today they are over $380 ea.

Welcome to the forum.

If you're asking specifically about Ironman vs Hankook and they are the same price, I definitely vote for Hankook.

As you can see and if you peruse the dozens and dozens of tire recommendation threads there on the forum, everybody will have their favorite brands.

I like Toyo, Sumitomo, and Yokohama ...and at one time, Hankook too but they've gotten awfully expensive lately.

I think in the size you're looking for that Sumitomo offers the best value. They are a Japanese-engineered tire at a very good price. Plus, many if not most of their commercial truck tires are now made at their plant outside Buffalo New York (Tonawanda NY, at the site of the old Goodyear plant) and if you happen to get one that is not, it will be coming from Japan ...nothing wrong with that.

Here they are at motorometires.com --motorhometires.com is an iRV2 vendor and sponsor of this sub-forum. But you can ask your local dealer that you are communicating with to see if they can get them ...that is, if you're interested.

Sumitomo ST 719, 275/70R22.5 - 18-ply rated/Load Range J

BTW Sailun is an excellent tire at an excellent price, but Ray knows the reason I'd never buy them so I won't explain it again to spare those who love their Sailun tires
