If it was me, I'd choose the easier to wash option (lighter)

Check if the MFG would let you substitute in one of last years colors maybe?

I don't think the clear coat will last long on dark colors especially black. The majority of cars I see with peeling clear coat are black.

Lighter colors will be cooler, easier to keep clean & last longer IMHO.

I didn't realize clear coat would degrade based on a certain colors? This coach will have 4 coats of clear and I'd hope would not peel? It also has Sickens paint which, if I understand it correctly, is least likely to peel or pit! I hope it's all true!

The pole is close 9 to 13 and I thank you for your votes. I just found out that no color changes can be made to the coaches! I'm not surprised but thought I should check.

So far the pole shows 9 for the Everest (black) and 13 for the Matterhorn (brown). So vote early and vote often!!!

I don't mean to be q smart a$$, but choose a color YOU like, not what I like. YOU have to look at at every day, I may never see it.

Cool Colors

My wife and i are in the same situation. She likes the black where i like the lighter colors. I'm the one who washes ours so the lighter colors are easier to keep clean!!

Paint one side the way you like the other side the way you like. Then everyone is happy including the day the painter gets paid.

The results are in and here's the poll.

17 Everest - Black
15 Matterhorn - Brown

The Everest has it in numbers and is also the coach my DW and I decided on as well. Our preference is the Brown coach over Black but we decided we really don't like all the white on the sides of the coach that comes with the brown Matterhorn!

The Black "Everest" will be our coach! I may have to work a little harder keeping it clean, but thats's ok. It's a beautiful coach with 4 coats of clear coat! I figure some extra time keeping it clean will keep me from other nefarious activity.

Thanks a lot for your participation I appreciate it.

Harry

Merry Christmas

Hope you're happy with your choice. We would have shopped for a different coach if that was it for color choices. We are not big fans of brown...

The darker color will look dirtier quicker and therefore will be washed more which is better for the overall extended condition of the coach. You'll also feel better about what you are driving when you know it's clean.

Mine is basically black.
