Help with Freightliner Optiview?
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. My wife and I are travelling today in our 2021 Newmar New Aire with Freightliner chassis. This unit is new to us. The issue is that as we drive, we constantly get warnings from the Headway Monitoring system. Is there any way to disable or desensitize the system? I've looked on the dash, in the manual and online with no luck. Any help is appreciated!! Be safe! -Doug

I know this is very late but in case anyone else has this issue. I too drove from San Antonio to Gettysburg with the annoying tones. Little did I know but there are three hard to see buttons on the right side of the windshield unit. There is an up arrow, down arrow and power button. Keep hitting the down arrow and that lowers the volume! Go figure. You can hear the tones get quieter. Best of luck.
