Was any of your camping experiences in RV's? I would strongly recommend going used for your first motorhome purchase. Nobody gets it right the first time, and you don't want to spend ~$100K on an RV and then find out after purchase that it wasn't what you were expecting! Also, new doesn't necessarily mean trouble free on ANY RV. I suggest looking at a few used ones online & at dealerships, walk through a few and look at different options and most importantly, different floorplans! Who knows, you might find one a few years old that has the perfect floorplan for your family, has had all the bugs worked out by the previous owner, and for a third or half the price of new
