Help with slide

Fleetwood Terra: After getting back from our last trip, We tried to extend the back slide so we could unload. When I tried to unlock, there was a little clunk and nothing and the unlock light never came on. And we couldn’t extend it. We took the bed apart and got to the motor and tried to manually crank it out. The bottom came out about 6 inches but the top never moved.

Anyone have this issue before?? How exactly does it lock? Is there a bar or something that slides into the slide? We were hoping to fix this before an upcoming trip. I know it will be weeks before a repair place could get to it.
