If that's the one on RvT I doubt it has a 5500 generator it probably has 7000. Actually I more than doubt it.

That surprises me sounds on the small side for that coach.

That occurred to me as well. I guess I'll find out. I must admit after shopping, comparing, and researching over the past 3 months, I'm just ready to get the shopping process over. I'm an impatient shopper. I usually stay in the car but since the purchase was a bit more involved than a trip to Target, I hung in there. There are probably other things that could be better or better suited for us than what this coach provides. But I won't know until I experience it myself. We've rented so I knew a little about what I wanted. As long as I didn't make any big mistakes, in 3 years when we sell and rebuy, I'll know more about what I want/need. The inspections should be done by Friday and I'm already looking at sites for this weekend. Who knows, maybe it will be back up for sale before summers over.

I think you are making a good choice, but then I may be a little biased.

5500 is common. Our 1999 Suncruiser 35ft had 5500 and I never needed more.

Our current 2012 Allegro Open Road 35ft has 7000, but this upgrade comes together with the optional heat pump. Standard is also 5500.

Two ac's and a washer/dryer seems a lot for a 5500 just look to confirm and tell them your not sure about that while dickering?

I know the feeling.

We shopped around for months after we sold one of our trucks and the fifth wheel camper. We drove what seemed like all over Texas looking at motor homes. As it turns out, we bought only 35 miles away. But, the more we looked, the more we realized what we were looking for - if that makes any sense. We are not new to RV's. We have owned truck campers, popups, travel trailers and fifth wheel campers over the span of the 30 years we've been married. But, we've never owned a motorized RV before, and we actually ended up buying a coach shorter than what we were originally looking for. As it turns out - that was our best choice after all.

Yes, that makes a lot of sense. You get to the point where you make up your mind on some key elements like budget, layout, chassis and engine and other things that are important to YOU and then you're ready to pull the trigger and move forward. Past that point the excitement of the shopping experience fades quickly.
