See lots of them on trucks.. These, Double Coin, Triangle, Sampson, etc.. All 'lesser known' but actually quite good selling Chinese.. I like Double Coin myself.

Sumitomo is a good Japanese tire thats also reasonably priced..

sure LR G would be even better cause you could carry less air in it for your weight and have a softer ride

I was also looking at the Hercules H-902 Tire. I need 4 so at $800 shipped compared to $1250 for the Continental it seems to make sense. What do yo think?

I wouldn't be afraid to put Hercules tires on, but I wanted the LR-F tires for the better ride. I do have Gladiators on the front (installed by the dealer before I bought the coach) and they are LR-H, a stiffer ride, but overall they have been good the past year and a half and almost 4500 miles.

$185.95 - Gladiator 245/70R19.5 1933294196 tires at SimpleTire.com

I only have 700 miles on mine to home as I had to have a major operation back home. I checked them yesterday as i Put wood underneath them for the rainy season now starting. they all have full air in them so no leaks during the 5 months since they were installed.
I bought them in Eugene, Oregon to save the sales tax so I was out the door for 1400.00 for 6 of them. So far so good. I note that a lot of RV'ers are now running these tires and never talked to anyone not happy with them............yet

I just got a quote for 6 of them, G rated, mounted and out the door for $1,450. Delaware, no sales tax. Nice to hear they're good tires.

I put Hercules on the front of my 40ft Monaco over three years ago and they have been great. Slight imbalance at first but after the shop balanced them they are great. They show now wear and I probably have 15-20,000 miles on them.
I put 4 rears on earlier this year and used the beads inside to help keep them balanced. Again, they have been great.

And a fraction of the cost of many brands. But, I would call around. The first place 3 years ago was priced well but the second time around I called some other shops and found some for 30-40% less.
