the only thing that I can think of that would draw that many amps is an inverter or a short. Any other system would pop like a fuse if that many amps were drawn. My first guess would be inverter cause a short would prpbably reveal itself with a smell, visual burnt wire or black wire. Disconnect all dc fuses and breakers, check for high draw, if none, bring dc components back online one at a time. I would not drive it or leave it unattended with dc connected until you resolve this.
good luck!

I was going to ask the same question Mr. twinboat.

I also don't see why you would benefit from turning all the circuit breakers off and running through the circuits since they are apparently not affected by the short.

If you are drawing that many amps and it is not a faulty meter and you don't smell anything burning or see any black carbon tracks from sparks I would tend to suspect the meter as Mr. twinboat suggested.

Tat many amps should be doing something noticeable.

On the other hand if they are shutting down then there may be a short to find. As I said before don't freak out just start with the large red and black wires. If you have an ampprobe you can look for amp draw anywhere along the wire and where the wire goes to a junction box or breaker box.

Electricity is so unpredictable and evasive these thoughts are only places to start looking and not gospel.
