Two years ago I bought a 2005 tiffin allegro bus for 92,000 it is a 38 ft two slide model. Since we bought it we took a month long trip to california about 5000 miles. Last year we lived in it for 6 months while wife was doing a contract job for a company in bartlesville, OK, This year wife was asked to do another contract job in Tulsa, OK ( Wifes family lives in tulsa) We have been living in ours since May of this year. Inbetween times of living in it we have done several one or two week trips to local rivers in Arkansas so I can go trout fishing. We have no problem living in it.
I am going to offer a piece of advise. If you want sattelite TV or it has sattelite TV make sure it has a winegard traveler. Any other sattelite dish is a waste of money. If you are looking at a 2004 or 2005 look at some of the posts on here about tires.
Just to be the devils advocate. Are you going to be living in one spot for any length of time or driving around the country changing locations every week or so. for 100K you can get a new 5th wheel and a used truck to tow with. A lot of class A bells and whistles are now available on 5th wheels. You can get automatic leveling and residential refrigerators. From personal experience I can tell you it is easier to heat and cool a newer 5th wheel and the maintenance is a lot less. If you are going to be driving it around though the comfort of driving a class A MH just cannot be beat.
