Holes in the motorhome?

We're in Branson for the weekend, Compton Ridge, and a Thor Daybreak. We went out for about 2 1/2 hrs this after noon after setup and when we came back, I was outside washing the car windshield and the wife called out "we got a problem in here", just what I needed to hear.
Went around to see and she said we had a bird, thought she was pulling my leg, actually we had two birds in the coach, and some bird [Poo], we didn't leave anything open.
They were the same type birds, smaller than a sparrow, more like a small finch. I assume they were mated up looking for nesting sites and some how found an entry.
I know we had holes under the dash (firewall area) that I filled with rags. The Fleetwood we had, had openings in the same area. Hope we don't come home tomorrow to the same thing.

Are there any gaps around the slide outs?

Heard of this trick to find openings in rig.....
Nighttime - turn on all interior lights - go out in the dark and crawl around under the rig - should see light through any openings.

Well, this is another day, and when we got home at noon, another bird, same kind as yesterday. I plugged what looked like holes around the bottom corners of the slides. We'll see what happens tomorrow. Seems to be a morning thing.

I will pass along my story. We parked in the spring. Birds made a nest in the slideouts under our topper- slides were in. When I went to put stuff in for a trip I put the slides out and guess what? Bird nest with birds included came in when the topper and slide moved out. Had to get a ladder and get the nest crud off and birds out. Seems there was enough gap where our slide seal had come loose to let them in. Might want to check that out on yours.
