Holiday Rambler Endeavor 2000

How hard is it to redo the roof on a Class A? Any help from someone that tackled the task themselves.

For those who can provide an intelligent answer, they will probably need to know more information such as the composition of the roof and what entails "redo", and I am guessing it is a 2000 year model?

If it’s a rubber roof (epdm) it’s not hard at all. Just time consuming for the prep work getting the roof cleaned before applying a few coats of a Dicor product, or WalMart sells an inexpensive product called Kool Seal.

If you’re not comfortable working up high and keeping a good balance then I’d recommend not doing it yourself, but if heights don’t bother you and you’re physically capable then it’s a good project you can do and feel good about at the end because it’ll look almost as good as a brand new roof when it’s completed.

I'm pretty sure the 2000 Endeavor has an aluminum roof, so there should be nothing to "re-do" except caulking seams and openings with standard RV lap sealant (Dicor) or a polymer caulk such as Geocel Proflex RV. Unless, of course, the roof has been damaged somehow.

Please provide more detail on why you need to "re-do" the roof and perhaps we can give more specific advice.
