One thing I have noticed is when the MH's reach ten years old the high end don't bring that much more than the ones lower on food chain compared to the difference they cost when new. It makes wonder that getting financing for a older coach might be a problem. There might be a limit what people can pay cash for a MH. Just my thought.

That just seems like a good deal in the middle of the winter (Scottsdale had some snow flurries today according to the local news)...

Look at the title. If it is a clear title that is totally different than if it is not a clear title. That price is very low for a coach built the way it is. I have a 2004 Monaco Executive that I would not sell nearly that cheap. I have a hard time looking at a lot of the new coaches when I see how a lot of them are just slapped together (giterdun). My neighbor has had a 2016 Thor Class C and a 2017 Winnebago Vista, I am sorry, but the quality just isn't there. He has given me so much grief about my bus (his words) until he drove it one day. I think he was impressed since I haven't heard anything about my bus since. We love our monaco and I would not consider it or that Navigator to be a starter unit.

By the way, I forgot to mention, the Cummins ISM is a great engine. Mine impresses me every time I drive it and I don't think it has any common problems like a few of the other engines. Look up problems with the ISL and ISX.

Since it came as a all electric it will dry camp just fine so at least we agree the all electric is a plus.
I would also agree it’s priced to sell but I would still offer a little less cash.

Sure got you going didn't I. Everything on a Coach ages out. It is a nice coach and it is entry level due to the price point. Great way to experience the amenities and you can bet there are many things on that coach that are going to need replaced. Maybe you never read the details on the forums of folks fixing up Vintage coaches. Well 14 years is certainly at the point where you fix or replace.
Sorry to push your hot button but the fact the price point is where it is and the coach is for sale proves my point
And yes I am one of the lowly people that own a Thor

The RV market in the Phoenix valley is a fairly hot one this time of year. It is rare to see a coach "Underpriced" for it's value. Many are overpriced. If the price seems too good to be true, there is probably a reason. If anyone is a serious buyer, it could be worth a trip to look-n-see, but beware.

Not my “hot button”...my fact button. Yes I’ve read about the fixing up of older rigs BUT that is not my experience. I recently sold my 04 Dynasty to my son who figured out it was more MH than a new gasser and at less than half the price. In the 14 years I owned it the only things I replaced were the TVs ($400 for LED), Sat dish, and the NoCold ($1000 for a residential with its own battery system). When I sold it nothing needed repaired or replaced. No loose cabinets, no rattles, and the woodwork and paint still looked better than many of the new rigs I looked at.
Yes, I looked at the new junk being thrown together and decided on a 10 year old “entry level” 45’ Navigator for $45K less than low NADA...so much for their values which was the point of these posts. Other than putting 2 new front tires, upgrading the LCD TVs with LED smart TVs ($500) and replacing the oven/stove cooktop with a dual induction (all still working) everything else worked too. Granted I’ve only put 7500 miles and used it 40 days without fixing anything. I’m fairly certain in three months I’ll be able to post 120 days.
I can guarantee you did not get 3.5 times the quality of that 05 Navigator with you’re Tuscany that in 10 years will need major remodeling and items replaced.
PS: you didn’t get 2X the quality of my 08 Navigator either.

Do you equate a certain price level point with 'entry level' or quality build of the coach? Am I reading you correctly that you mean the former?

This looks like a great opportunity if you can do the work yourself. I've looked at hundreds of these coaches and they are some of the best ever built. It's a Roadmaster RR10S chassis with 10 air bags and 10 shocks.
I would set aside about $10k to bring it up to date.
I also agree the Cummins 500hp ISM with 1550 ft lbs of torque is a great motorhome engine. It will be paired with the Allison MH4000 transmission.
Best of luck if you go for it.

I have looked at rigs just like yours
Have you been through a later model Tuscany to not the differences?
I am not knocking the older well built coaches, however many do need extensive repairs and you may be lucky but you cant dispute that
Sorry I offended all you guys, didn't know you were so touchy feely

I realize a 10+ year old rig is not for everyone about like not all 10+ year old rigs are the same after 10 years of use. I agree the Tuscany had options that were not available 10 years ago.
I did do more than just look at a Tuscany last winter, I looked at it’s chassis, its house construction, and its fit and finish. Compared to the mid 2000s Monaco lineup, I would say it’s comparable to a Camelot with the same engine and its alum house structure plus the list of things that we options...not standard. Back then Dynasty was next, then Executive and on top... Signature. A HR Navigator falls between the Exe and a Sig in my opinion. Does your Tuscany have radar cruise control? A switch that adjusts the shocks stiffness?
I did like the J lounge with the additional section that pulls out. The one I looked at had dark wood that looked painted on and the fit and finish was only OK for a show coach.
Hopefully the OP will report back if he went and looked at the 05 Navigator.

I've called a few times on it but the dealer has been remodeling their site.
They were supposed to open again today but were still closed.
Soon as they open I'll be down there
