If I were healthy we might have a piece of land with a small house in the country. We could park there during the summer for a few months, and enjoy the home and gardens. In would love to fix up vintage RVs. Unfortunately, being on 02 24/7, all that is not possible. The fulltime RV lifestyle is actually much easier.
We rolled into Ohio about 2-3 weeks ago, saw family, and are looking forward to having everyone out "camping" this summer.
For some reason though, we are already missing being on the road. We can hardly wait for Labor Day to get here! LOL!

I hear ya, Dave. We get our annual checkups for us and vehicles, and love visiting with family and friends, but the allure of the road is REAL strong. Almost feel trapped! Yikes!

Trips are one to two weeks at a time. Also do lots of two or three day camping trips using the RV as base camp for our canoe/kayaking trips in the mountains. Looking to do an extended trip of six weeks out west next year. Maybe more extended trips as we get older during the dead of winter but have no desire to give up our home.
