Did you run out of gas? Can you get some gas to the MH? If you can get the generator going you should be able to get the batteries charged enough to start the motor.

Heading south will definitely help with warmer weather.

Without more information it appears the problem is not the MH but your circumstances that could be the issue.
The batteries are brand new. We just bought them yesterday. There's no power to the RV.

It won't start or it won't crank? If no power at all, even for headlights, check for fuses or bad connections. Might be a corroded ground wire connection.

Did you replace the chassis batteries or the house batteries? You should be able to start your generator ?

From your description you are out of gas. You haven't figured that out?
Have you tried to help yourself by buying gas?

Before living in this RV. we were living in an apartment here in Leadville called the Eagles Nest. We paid our rent on time for two years. We were late one week in October, so they gave us the boot, no second chances. We have only been in the RV since November 30th. My son had traded two cars for a 79 Titan MT, so we would have a roof over our head. But his wife took his son and moved back to the East coast, and he followed her, and left us with an RV that he or is didn't know anything about. We had to give up a lot of stuff when We left the apartment. We don't know anything about RV living. As soon as we save enough money we are moving back East also. I am definitely not used to this cold. My husband is on disability and gas to use oxygen at night.
We did put gas in the RV and it still won't start. We definitely need some pointers. We have no idea what we are doing.

When you do get the engine started, move to a campground where you can hookup to electricity.....it is MUCH more costly to try to run engine and/or generator to keep warm than using the campground electricity.

We had just filled the tanks up. We ran the RV so we could use the heater in front and ran the generator for a small heater in the back. Would that cause it to run out of gas in both tanks. We did put more gas in the tanks, but it still won't start.

Sorry for your situation, but you have been giving a lot of pointers of how to and why. Seems problem is far to complicated for any of us to fix over the Internet. You need to get a local mechanic or RV repair person out to help get you moving along.

We had money to put gas in it. We are slowly running out of money. Pretty soon we are not even gonna have enough money to get in a park.

I'm sorry I wasn't clear. We had just put gas in the tank (there are two tanks) not sure which one is which). We left the truck and the generator running all night and they both cut off. We went to start them both and neither would start. We put gas in and still won't start. Ther is no power to the truck.

Which batteries are which. We replaced the only 2 batteries we saw in the truck. There are wires underneath the truck that are held together with electrical tape and vise grips that supposed to give power to the truck. The RV worked when we pulled in the motel parking lot on the way to the Springs. We only pulled in because the brakes were failing and the roads were icy.

If you are a Veteran (Or Not) and there is a VFW Post there, go pay them a visit and explain your situation to them and see if they can help. My VFW post helped stranded Motorist and people all the time. Good Luck
