House and coach batteries are the same thing...

House/coach batteries power things that are RV specific.

Starter/chassis batteries power things that are chassis/automotive specific.

House batteries, almost always.

Some thermostats are powered by the heater circuit.

My temp sensors and thermostat (vegatouch control panel) are all powered from 12V on the house or coach batteries. Not the chassis batteries.

Yeap. The thermostats get their 12v power from the house side as opposed to the chassis (engine) side. Sometimes via the furnace circuit and sometimes via the a/c circuit, but always house 12v power. Note that the batteries aren't actually involved if shore power or generator are active, but it's still the house side 12v power.
