Not sure how anyone can predict the future. Thor owns Entegra and have the potential of purchasing more manufacturers. Who knows when family owned businesses will go to the fold.

All manufacturers do a reasonable job when you look at price point and numbers produced.

Should they be better - absolutely.

Could they be better - that is the question. In order to do that all of the workers have to take personal responsibility of their contribution to the product. Quality control can only do so much in producing the product. Can it prevent stripped screws, misaligned objects, etc? Not unless each and every move is supervised. Society has backed away from personal accountability and as a result the number of craftsmen we used to have in the work force has been reduced.

Thanks for the information. I thought Thor that produced air tools for many years was the same company that manufacturers motor homes. Did not know other companies had the same name and no affiliation.
