How hard is it to install an Inverter Remote Control

Apparently not that hard. We upgraded the Magnum remote from the factory OEM unit to the ME-RC. The upgrade allowed us a great deal of flexibility making adjustments to the power management of the coach.

Nice upgrade. I guess you were able to use the old communication cable.
Running cable in these coaches is not too easy.

What did you do for the generator start feature - did you need to run cable to that unit? (I'm assuming you did not have that feature on the old unit).

The Gen Start unit is much more complicated to install. There are a number of circuits that need to be wired to connect the shore power panel, the inverter and the generator
The Gen Start install I am going to leave for the Newmar factory techs when the coach is at the Factory for its annual maintenance in the Spring.
Unfortunately I am not aware of a local service person that I have the confidence in to complete the install correctly the first try.
