Our two dogs are a big reason we got into rving. We had boarded a dog a couple times and each time she came home with fleas. When we had one dog a good friend would watch her but now that we have 2 dogs it is too much for her. Here in our area there has been an outbreak of dog influenza so it is just much easier and healthier to keep the dogs with us. They love to go camping and just go nuts while we are loading.

Cool cat condo!

Probably 80% of our decision to buy an RV was because of our 2 dogs. Hated having to bribe friends to look after them while we were away. Now we just packed up the mutts and we're gone.

We’ve traveled and boarded our dog as necessary. He was always not quite himself when we returned. After he passed and we rescued our current dog we decided if we were going to travel it would be with our dog as he is part of our family. So we decided on a motorhome so we could all travel in comfort.

We have 5 miniature long hair dachshunds and travel between South Florida and Poconos several times a year. They are the reason for our new obsession. We’re on our fourth Motorhome now ( American Coach Revolution 39A) having had a 38’, 25’ & 30’. Love this 2016 DP and appear to have found the “right” one for our family. Dogs are happy too!

Absolutely!

We have no children so you can imagine our fur kids are even more a part of our family than most. We have rescues and they are typically seniors and all of them great travelers.

Our pets are our children and traveling with them had a major influence on our decision to get an RV.

Without a doubt! Four poms, would never leave them behind! Boarding or kenneling were out of the question... 2 were abused with one being crated for long periods daily, the other was given away & stolen 5+ times so has issues with strangers. Less stressful for me when they're with us.

The whole reason we got into RVing is so that we could take the dogs. We rescue Yorkies and the occasional Chihuahua. We lived in FL before (now in beautiful NC) so we wanted to spend a couple of months there in the Winter. We had several bad experiences boarding our dogs, so the decision to get an RV was an easy one. The dogs love it and so do we.
Keep Smiling,
Bob

We retired 3 years ago. Wanted to spend a few months in Florida in the winters, also wanted to look around Florida to see where we would eventually buy a winter home when we found the area we wanted.

With a dog and a cat, that was hard to do. We thought about a large conversion van just for travel, but in the end we chose a MH. So now the critters have a second home, and both travel quite well in it.
The dog, a Bassett mix, just sleeps. the cat disappears when were moving, but fine as soon as we park.
